Appearance: Standing at about sixteen hands, Fencer's heavier build shows off his powerful muscles in his chest and withers, which bring him stronger flight than one would assume for an equine of his build. This build tapers down to a more suitable litheness, with thinner legs that seem like they might break if he lands too hard. His face bears a Roman nose, the convex shape drawing in plenty of air to help power his strong wing beats. His coat and large feathered wings are nearly white, while his mane and tail are pure black. His head too, is black, the marking extending just past his throatlatch in a flaring curve like the tip of a broad paint brush beginning a wide stroke. Ice blue eyes stand out from the black of his face. His coat tends towards the shaggier side, especially in the colder seasons. Though his forelock is rather long, his mane and tail are generally medium length - not kept too short but also not very long. His light-colored crescent shaped, single-toed hooves barely seem to touch the ground whenever he does land. Just below his forelock, sitting atop his forehead is a pair of symmetrical black antlers curving forward in a brow tine and then backward in a main beam from which three to four tines sprout.

Personality: Fencer is bold and fearless. He has a quick temper and likes to solve things with a fight rather than diplomacy. He is usually found to be in charge, or vying to be in charge. He is a bit no-nonsense, taking any responsibility very seriously, and is not generally interested in games or exploring for entertainment.
Abilities: In addition to the natural magic of the Pegasus which aids in their ability to fly, Fencer's powerfully built upper body gives him extra lift in the air, allowing him to take off and gain altitude quickly.
He is also magically attuned to the elemental magics of lightning and ice. Both of these are best executed while in flight, though he can generate some of the energy he needs for ice while on the ground as well. His lightning abilities mainly involve manipulating the energy in clouds to form various kinds of lightning at varying strengths. He is unable to use both his lightning abilities and his ice abilities at the same time, due to the energy required for each.
The biggest catch with any cloud-to-ground lightning he creates is that he cannot control the full path of the strike - he can control the beginning and the general destination of the strike, but the path it takes to get there is dependent on too many tiny particles he cannot control. The zigzag pattern is all nature, and if there is another flying creature in the air, he runs the risk of losing control of the strike and hitting them instead of his target. It also takes a great deal of practice to get his aim precise, and this is not something he can practice whenever he wants. Due to these limitations, he tries to only conjure cloud-to-ground lightning when there are no allies in his general vicinity (roughly a 6 mile radius), and when there are more enemies than allies in the area he is targeting.
With cloud lightning, or lightning that is not directed at the ground, he must take care not to accidentally electrocute himself. His antlers are good at helping to redirect any errant energy, and he uses them to "toss" it away and at enemies in the air. This is perhaps the easiest conjuring for him, as this tossing motion is similar to movements he uses when fighting directly, using his antlers to intimidate a rival. It also does not require quite as much precision as ground strikes, and he can manipulate the energy to recharge himself (though this comes at the risk of looking like a fuzzy marshmallow when he's done). And while this seems useful, if the lightning strike he is redirecting is too powerful, or if he does it too many times, he still runs the risk of electrocution.
With his ice abilities, all he really needs is cold air and a water source, such as clouds, a stream or river, or a lake or pond. The larger the cloud or body of water, the more ice he can make, though if he's desperate, he can use his own saliva to make daggers of ice. He uses his hooves, wings, and tail to manipulate the water in clouds and ground water sources, gathering it in the quantity and shapes he needs, before freezing the shapes and pushing them in the direction he desires. These shapes can be anything from large hailstones and icicle-daggers to small droplets akin to snow or sleet. Once the water is frozen, he can hold them still for a little while before he has to either let them fall or have them hurtle through the air towards his victim(s). The biggest limitation to this is that he must be in a cold enough environment, or have a partner who can generate cold enough air for him.
